Tick removal made easy
We have found inexpensive “tick removal tools” to be helpful, and easy to use. These are sold under a variety of names, but the ones that work best act as a “corkscrew”, whereby the tick is engaged in a narrow v-shaped groove, and then removed with a twisting motion. We generally have some of these available at the office for a minimal cost. Click here to see an example. Many veterinarians sell these, also.
